Confidential Information Security and Protection
LidunHologram specializes in printing tamper-evident security labels and tapes, which you can use to help ensure that confidential information that you create, acquire, or manage remains secure. Our products are especially useful for securing printed matter, sealing envelopes or other document containers. They can also be applied to unconnected storage media such as over thumb drive USB connectors, hard drive connectors, optical media jewel cases, and computer ports to ensure that these devices have not been accessed by unauthorized persons.
Non-Residue Labels for Metal and Smooth Plastic
When removed, film shows a previosuly hidden message of "VOID OPENED" but leaves no adhesive residue on the surface. Suitable for indoor or outdoor application. Ideal for use on expensive equipment or products that you want to secure without leaving a messy residue, including:
- Computers
- Servers
- Network and phone patch panels
- Laboratory equipment
- Laboratory glassware
- Electronics
- Evidence
- External computer hard drives
- Metal cabinets
Most effective on the following surfaces:
- Bare metal
- Glass
- Painted metal
- Painted & varnished wood
- Most smooth plastic
- Most non-porous surfaces
- Indoor and outdoor applications
For textured plastics, plastic bags, and powder-coated paint, consider our Plastic-Guard labels.
For finished surfaces, test SecureGuard in an inconspicuous area before committing to use. If the finished surface is not securely bonded to its underlying material, the finish may be removed or damaged when the label is removed. If a SecureGuard label is left applied to a surface for longer than 90 days, a minimal amount of adhesive residue may remain, depending on the surface.

Security Bags, Tamper Evident
Our tamper evident bags are sealed with a tamper evident closure. After sealing, if the closure is opened, the tamper evident seal will reveal a void message, such as "VOID OPENED" or "STOP!" We offer an assortment of transparent bag sizes ranging from 5 x 11 inches to 30 x 36 inches, and opaque bag sizes from 9 x 12 inches to 20 x 20 inches. Opaque bags keep the contents of the bag from being seen, while transparent bags allow the contents to be seen. Tamper evident security bags are not reusable.

Bar Code Mask Label
Our CopyGuard bar code mask can be applied directly over a printed bar code. It protects the bar code from being copied and the holographic element also provides an added authentication feature. As an option, we can include custom printed bar codes and logos.

Acetate Security Tape and Labels
Acetate tape and seals are frangible, which means they tear easily when removed. The “broken seal” feature of acetate signals tampering. After application, acetate material can be removed, but it is designed to tear into multiple pieces. The serrated edges (a sawtooth pattern) enhance the frangibility and security. Chemical tampering causes the solvent-sensitive inks to dissolve and smear.
When removed, acetate tape and seals do not leave any messy adhesive residue, but the film will break into several pieces. The low price of acetate security tape and seals makes this product one of the most affordable options we offer.
Acetate tape and seals are often used to detect tampering with various containers or bare metal access panels.
If applied to a reusable container or surface, use isopropyl alcohol to soak and dissolve the remaining acetate pieces and adhesive. If applied to unfinished metal, a razor can be used to scrape the remaining pieces, then clean the surface with alcohol.

Frangible Integrity Seals for Electronics
Our frangible paper integrity labels are can be used on electronics, including computers, where clear indication of tampering or opening is more important than ease of cleanup. These seals are preforated, and when applied with the perforation running along the seam of a lid, door, or panel, they will sever at the perforation when the item is opened. They are not easy to remove, and will self-destruct and tend to shred rather than lift off all at once. Since these labels are made of paper, they are receptive to handwritting from ink pens, pencils, and markers. These labels also include a hidden security feature of UV-fluorescing fibers which can be detected by exposing the labels to an ultraviolet black light.
