Archive collectibles require special hologram label material to avoid damaging the collectible materials. Stock hologram labels with a custom text are adequate for low-security applications. For higher security, consider custom hologram labels.
Hologram Labels for Archival Collections
LidunHologram recommends only silver metalized (aluminum) hologram materials with an ultraviolet-cured permanent acrylic adhesive on polyester film liners to avoid possible acid contamination from the label, adhesive, and liner materials. If custom text is printed on the hologram label, we recommend using only black ink under a clear film lamination for maximum long term fade-resistance.
Applying an adhesive sticker directly to archival documents has inherent risks, which are the responsibility of the end-user.
