Security Options for Protecting Pallets
For pallets, apply an outside wrapper or film first. Apply tape from one side to the other (bottom-top-bottom). Then apply tape around the pallet (parallel to the ground) across all four vertical sides.
Topp Clip Security Seals for Pallets
The Topp Clip® system is our most robust system for deterring and detecting pallet pilfering. It is designed to secure the pallet by indicating tampering with the banding. Other applications include securing the strapping on other containers such as crates, totes, slip trays, etc. The Topp Clip® system features 3 components, which together provide both a deterrent and evidence of tampering:
- Metal Clip for Banding
- Plastic Adjustable Seal
- Tamper Evident Warning Label
Each component has a unique serial number. The Tamper Evident Warning Label facilitates recording of the component serial numbers atop the pallet.
The metal "Topp Clip" is the key component of the system. The Topp Clip® is the only crimp needed to secure the banding of the pallet seal system. So the presence of any other banding crimps in the seal system would indicate tampering.
Once applied, tampering or replacement of the banding is extremely difficult without leaving signs of tampering.

Wire Seals for Indicating Pilfering of Pallets
Our pallet wire seals are another option for combating tampering and pilfering of palletized product. Thieves typically remove the original banding, remove product, then replace the packing and banding. To protect your palletized product, just thread a pallet wire seal under and around the pallet.
Each seal is 200 inches long, enough to go completely around a 48x42x48 inch pallet. A typical pallet requires a minimum of 2 wire seals. If tampered, the seals will show a broken seal. Each wire seal features a unique serial number. For added security, record the serial numbers on the bill of lading.

Tamper-evident Labels for Pallet Banding
Our tamper evident labels for pallet strapping are our most affordable system for combating tampering and pilfering of palletized product. Thieves typically remove the original banding, remove product, then replace the packing and banding. To protect your palletized product, just affix a tamper-evident pallet label onto the crimps, which connect the pallet strapping. A typical pallet has a minimum of two crimps. All crimps should have labels.
Removing the label will reveal a hidden message to self-VOID the label. Our tamper evident pallet labels are specially constructed to show the hidden VOID message even on difficult surfaces, such as stretch wrap and shrink film. Each pallet label features a unique serial number. For added security, record the serial numbers on the bill of lading.
