Bar Code Mask
Bar code masks are typically used on ID cards or lamination pouches to prevent a unique bar code from being copied. The mask is created using special inks, which can be in directly printed or printed onto a label that is affixed over the bar code. The special inks prevent the bar code from copying, but the bar code is still machine-readable. This optional feature is available in solid black (for infrared bar code readers) or red (for visible light bar code readers).
Bar Code Mask, Printed
As an option, we can custom print bar code masks on lamination pouches or other ID credentials. Please call for more information.
Bar Code Mask Label
Our CopyGuard bar code mask can be applied directly over a printed bar code. It protects the bar code from being copied and the holographic element also provides an added authentication feature. As an option, we can include custom printed bar codes and logos.
