Bank Checks
To discourage counterfeiting and protect the check amount from alterations, we recommend a transparent hologram label applied over the recorded amount and/or payee. Our hologram overlays are the largest hologram label we offer (A5). Another option is to contact your bank to confirm if they offer "positive pay". With this service the check issuer communicates the check number, amount and payee information to the bank. When the checked is processed, the bank will only release funds for the check if all three match as reported. Although banks often charge extra fees for this service, positive pay offers the highest security.
