Many products or components are not meant to be serviced by end users, or require service to be performed only by authorized service centers. This is especially true of most electronic devices and highly specialized equipment. It is common for manufacturers to specify that a warranty will become void if an unauthorized person attempts to open a device or a component.
LidunHologram offers a number of products that indicate that a product or component has been opened, and that a warranty may have been voided. These products work in a variety of conditions and on a wide range of surfaces and materials. In addition to classic "warranty void if removed" labels and stickers, we can print custom messages on tamper evident labels, frangible labels, and hologram stickers.
Warranty Void Hologram Labels
We offer a stock hologram label with the text "WARRANTY VOID IF REMOVED." This hologram sticker includes a self-destructive tamper evident feature which destroys the hologram image when the label is removed from the surface to which it is adhered.
In addition to these stock labels, we offer custom imprinting over our other stock hologram backgrounds, and we can add serial numbers per your specifications.

Self-Adhesive Warranty Seals
Our low, medium, and high-residue self-adhesive warranty seals are available in a variety of colors, including silver, red, white, and blue. When removed or tampered, they self-destruct and leave behind a pattern of "VOID OPENED" on the surface to which they were applied. Our security seals are designed to show signs of tamper evidence immediately after application. Unlike competitive products, there is no waiting period for the tamper evidence feature to become active.
For increased security, these stock security stickers can be customized with your text, logo, or serial number.

Water Detection Labels for Electronic Devices
Our water detection labels change color when exposed to liquid water, but not when exposed to high humidity. These labels are constructed of a paper base which is laminated with clear film. The moisture-indicative color change begins within 5 seconds of water contact, progressing from the perimeter of the label and moving inward. The color change remains even after prolonged submersion in water.
These labels are ideal for electronic devices which might be returned for warranty issues.
We manufacture two types of water detection labels. Our regular label indicates water exposure on the outside (film) surface of the the label, which is suitable for most applications. We also manufacture labels that indicate moisture on the adhesive surface, which is called for is the label is affixed to the inside surface of a transparent material such as glass.

Hologram Labels with Taggants
While a hologram label alone provides visible anti-counterfeiting protection, including taggants in the label creates features that are invisible to the naked eye. The presence of these taggants can only be detected by hand-held devices.
The stock taggant formula fluoresces green under the light from a a 980nm laser pen. Taggants can also be detected in more diverse light conditions by using the REVEAL taggant detector, which has indicator lights which will positively identify the presence of the taggant.
We can provide custom taggant formulas which fluoresce at different colors. The different formulations with various infrared colors can also be combined to make a unique combination.
