Secure-Guard Plus Security Labels

Compared to our standard SecureGuard labels, the SecureGuard PLUS provides improved performance on low energy surfaces and is priced about 10% higher.

On some high energy surfaces (glass, metal, etc), SecureGuard PLUS also will perform as a non-residue label for longer periods of time.

Our security labels are designed to show signs of tamper evidence immediately when removed from the applied surface. Unlike many competitive products, there is no waiting period for the tamper evidence feature to become operable.

Our stock labels are available with pre-assigned serial numbers (in black ink) for immediate shipment.

Custom imprinted labels provide more security. Allow 1 week for custom printing. Optional RUSH service is available.

The standard imprint color is black. Optional imprint colors are: red, blue and green.

For added security, Secure-Guard Plus labels can be imprinted with your custom text, logo, or serial number in black ink or other optional ink color. Custom imprinted labels are available in red or blue.

For the customized imprint, our standard process is to print custom text, logos and serial numbers on the surface of the label using thermal transfer resin ribbons. The thermal inks are durable to mechanical abrasion, scratching and most liquids and is suitable for most applications. However, thermal printed inks can be removed with certain solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, or lotions containing alcohol.

If wrapping the label around a box corner (or to seal a plastic cap and bottle), a long and narrow rectangle is best.

Secure-Guard Plus labels are suitable for indoor or outdoor applications.

After application to the recommended surfaces, the adhesive systems are intended to leave no residue for about 90 days.

In some conditions, the non residue feature may be impaired. In these cases, when removed, the label will still show the "OPEN VOID" message, but the label may leave an adhesive residue on the surface. Such conditions include:

• Application to some high energy surfaces (glass, PVC, polycarbonate, plexiglas, etc) the non residue feature may only function for 1 month, then the label will revert to leaving a residue.
  
  
• If the label is applied longer than 90 days, some adhesive residue may remain on the affixed surface.
  
  
• After affixing to the surface, temperatures over 120F or less than 30F may cause the label to leave adhesive residue when removed.

To minimize adhesive residue on the surface, remove the label using a 180 degree peel angle.

In the event there is adhesive residue, it can be cleaned with a citrus-based household cleaner (Goo-gone, Orange Sol, etc) or isopropyl alcohol.
