Pallet Seals

Our most affordable option for sealing a pallet uses our PalletGuard tamper evident labels, which are placed over the metal crimps used to secure the strapping. After affixing the strapping, peel and stick a PalletGuard label directly over the crimp and onto the surface of the pallet wrapping.

For added security, record the label serial numbers on the bill of lading.

When removed, the pallet labels will self VOID to indicate tampering. Any missing or VOIDED labels indicate tampering.

Our pallet wire seals have a wire length of 200 inches. After the pallet is strapped, use a minimum of 2 wire seals as a security seal for the pallet.

The wire seals are easy to install. Just wrap the wire under and around the pallet and seal at the top. Insert the wire into the hole and twist the knob. No special tools are required.

For added security, record the seal serial numbers on the bill of lading.

Also, the wire seals are great for totes, large cartons and wooden crates.

Pallet Wire Seals are available in bags of 10 seals (typically enough for 5 pallets) and are an affordable option for low quantity projects.

Our best pallet seal is the Topp Clip® system. It is designed to secure the pallet by indicating tampering with the banding.

The metal "Topp Clip" is the key component of the system. The Topp Clip® is the only crimp needed to secure the banding. So the presence of any other banding crimps would indicate tampering.

Once applied, tampering or replacement of the banding connected to the Topp Clip is extremely difficult without leaving signs of tampering.

A visual inspection protocol is essential to achieve the maximum effectiveness. The Tamper Evident Warning Label facilitates recording of the component serial numbers atop the pallet.

Also, the shipper should record the seal serial numbers on the shipping documents. And the receiver should verify the component serial numbers and look for other signs of obvious tampering.
